Quickstart Guide - Monitor in 5 Minutes

Real-time infrastructure monitoring for DevOps

Step-by-step setup

Configure Your First HTTP Monitor

Follow these three steps to get your first uptime check running. No CLI required—everything is configured directly in the StatusPulse dashboard.

1. Define the Target Endpoint

Navigate to Monitors > Add Check. Enter your production URL, such as `https://api.stripe.com/v1/charges`, and select the HTTP 200 OK validation rule. Set the check interval to 60 seconds for standard traffic or 15 seconds for critical checkout flows.

2. Assign Alert Routing

Link your PagerDuty service key or Slack `#ops-incidents` webhook. Configure escalation policies to trigger after 2 consecutive failures. Enable maintenance windows to suppress alerts during scheduled deploys on `us-east-1`.

3. Activate & Verify

Toggle the monitor to Active. The dashboard will immediately begin polling from our Frankfurt and Virginia probe nodes. Confirm the first successful handshake in the Live Log tab and verify TLS certificate expiry tracking is enabled.
