What happens if I exceed my monitor limit?
We will never cut off your active checks mid-cycle. If you consistently exceed your tier’s limit for 14 days, we’ll notify you and offer a one-click upgrade. Overages are billed at $1.20 per extra monitor per month, or you can switch to annual billing to lock in lower rates.
Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?
Yes. Upgrading to annual mid-cycle applies a prorated credit to your account. Downgrading to monthly takes effect at the start of your next billing period. All historical uptime data remains intact regardless of billing changes.
Do you offer discounts for nonprofits or open-source projects?
Absolutely. Verified 501(c)(3) organizations and publicly maintained open-source repositories qualify for a 40% discount on Pro and Enterprise tiers. Email billing@statuspulse.io with your GitHub org or EIN to get your license key within 24 hours.
How are check intervals enforced?
Intervals are guaranteed minimums. Free tier checks run every 60 seconds ±5s. Pro runs every 30 seconds ±3s. Enterprise guarantees 10-second precision with active health probes distributed across AWS us-east-1, eu-west-2, and ap-southeast-1. Results are cached and delivered via WebSocket to your dashboard.
